Third Container Shipped out Nov. 17th

The latest container with school supplies, medical supplies, and computers was sent from Thomasboro, IL on its way to Tanzania on November 17th.  Through the generous donations from Carle Foundation Hospital, Burke's Farm, and other individuals, we were able to fill this container (and still have some items left over) and pay for the shipping to get it to Africa. Now we have 2 months to raise another $2,000 to cover the shipping costs and clearing costs once the container gets to Africa. Thank you for all the volunteers and assistance to make this project poassible!

Second Container to be Delivered on Oct. 20th

The second forty foot container was shipped from the United States and will arrive in Tanzania on October 20, 2006. This container shipment includes computers, furniture, beds, dried food, clothing, medical items, and school supplies. It also includes a car that was very generously donated. After filling this container completely full, there was enough donated items to fill another 20 foot container.

Please consider donating to help us raise the money to ship another container with the remaining items. These supplies are badly needed to help the poor in Tanzania.
